…. to our showcase event of the Year !<br />
The IMHR National <strong>Show</strong> is without doubt the premier event on the <strong>Miniature</strong><br />
<strong>Horse</strong> show calendar.<br />
It seems that every year it comes around quicker and quicker (just like<br />
Christmas). This show is the biggest so far with record numbers in the classes. It<br />
will also be a fantastic spectator event for new and potential <strong>Miniature</strong> <strong>Horse</strong><br />
owners.<br />
As we have a lot of newcomers this year, please help out where you can with tips<br />
and hints to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable show.<br />
With so many big classes, ribbons are going to be hard to come by so give<br />
yourself plenty of time to get your horse ready with special attention to your<br />
presentation—it may mean the difference between getting a placing and<br />
missing out.<br />
We have the ‘A’ team on hand again in the arena and show office so if you need<br />
anything or have any enquiries, please check with them. Note: any issues with<br />
stabling such as bedding etc.. must be addressed to the AELEC Office at the<br />
front of the main arena. Enquiries re: allocations, additional stables and<br />
payments are done through IMHR..<br />
We’ve had a busy start to the year with IMHR sending two teams to NZ to<br />
compete at the National <strong>Miniature</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> show in Hamilton in January and then<br />
down to Hawera in March for the NZMHA National <strong>Show</strong>. Our teams had a<br />
fantastic time and were wonderful ambassadors for <strong>Miniature</strong> <strong>Horse</strong>. Thank<br />
you to all supporters and everyone who assisted in the fundraising efforts.<br />
The program we are running this year is designed to streamline the judging and<br />
speed up the marshalling. It also allows for those with large show teams to split<br />
the load over a few days. We appreciate your feedback on this and any other<br />
aspect of the National <strong>Show</strong>.<br />
