Specifically the service will:• Offer skills, experience and expertise in recognising andsupporting the spiritual needs of students and staff in thecollege.• Provide support, advice and guidance of an emotional orspiritual nature to all students and staff of all faiths andnone.• Offer confidential and non judgemental support to allstudents and staff in times of difficulty such as, loneliness,illness, stress, crisis and bereavement.• Help celebrate religious and other festivals.• Offer a safe space to relax, meditate or to explore widerquestions of spirituality.• Work collaboratively with other student support andcollege support systems.• It will forge and develop links between the college andcommunity groups.Benefits include:• Adds value to Perth UHI, through caring for students andstaff spiritually and pastorally.• Enhances and compliments the work of Student Servicesby working with the Guidance Counselling team and othersupport staff where appropriate.• Holistic (working together) approach on issues of commonconcern.• A resource that offers space and facilities to faith andbelief groups, companionship in a college, university life,learning journey, encouragement and a source of spiritualsupport.

They areused for Christian meditation on Tuesdays from 12.15-1.30 pmand during the week for Muslim prayers.
