The River StarFoundation also initiatedsupport for a multiyear project‘Urban Living Index for Wellbeingin Asia‘ which aims todevelop an index to measureliveability and well-being inAsian cities to serve as a catalystfor public engagement andsocial change within cities.• The Women’s Foundation(http://www.thewomensfoundationhk.org) initiated a studyreviewing the changing profileand attitudes of women inHong Kong during the past20 years, which is due to bereleased in early 2013.• In addition to providing bothfunding and service supportfor our back office (see below– back-office costs) the WYNGFoundation (http://wyng.hk)also funded projects in linewith its focus of empoweringindividuals and organisationsto acquire, exchange anddisseminate information toachieve a more advancedand caring society. The firstof these was a book writtenby Leo Goodstadt on HongKong’s poverty issues (due to bereleased in 2013) and the secondwas a review and update of<strong>Civic</strong> <strong>Exchange</strong>’s earlier work onthe Small House Policy (due tobe released in early 2013).Key international NGO and/orfoundation donors include:• The Rockefeller Brothers Fund(http://www.rbf.org) continuedtheir support of our regionalair pollution studies, whichculminated in initiation of ourground-breaking collaborativePRD Marine Emissions Project(refer to page 4) back in 2010.The recent project <strong>report</strong>A Price Worth Paying: TheCase for Controlling MarineEmissions in the Pearl RiverDelta provides much neededscientific backing to the policysuggestions <strong>Civic</strong> <strong>Exchange</strong> hasbeen promoting for the lastfive years and forms a powerfultool in our efforts to improveregional air quality.Key Hong Kong business sectordonors (in alphabetical order)include:• CLP Power Hong KongLimited’s (CLP) long-termsupport of energy and airpollution research and debatehas in the past year involvedsupport for our Energy Mix2011 and 2012 Projects.
