BLUES AND JAZZ FESTIVAL
First weekend in June
The Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival is
the single largest event in the Orangeville
area and one of the most highly-respected
events of its kind in Canada – a claim that
is verified by the number of Juno Award
winners that perform each year.
MARKET ON BROADWAY
Every Saturday, May-October
Located on Second Street, just behind the
Town Hall, the Market on Broadway features
fresh produce, fruits, locally raised meats,
fish, flowers, home baked goods, artisanal
crafts and live music for your shopping pleasure.
FOUNDERS’ FAIR
& SIDEWALK SALE
Second Friday and Saturday in July
The Founders’ Fair celebrates Orangeville’s
heritage with buskers, art and craft kiosks,
sidewalk sales, stage performers, live bands,
food and free attractions for everyone.
HEADWATERS ARTS FESTIVAL
September-October
This three-week event promotes art in all its
form, encourages interaction among artists
and the community, and celebrates the best
in creative talent.
RIBFEST
Fourth weekend in July
Come out and give your taste buds a treat as
international ribbers vie for prizes. This free
event features a mix of retail, arts and craft
and food vendors, as well as a licensed area
for the adults, a midway for the kids and live
entertainment for the whole family!
ORANGEVILLE ART GROUP
Second Weekend in October
Feel the excitement as the OAG returns home
to Orangeville for their 43rd Annual Art Show.
Meet the artists, enjoy demos, and savour two
and three dimensional art. Located in the Tony
Rose Memorial Sports Centre.
HARVEST CELEBRATION
Fourth Saturday in October
The annual Harvest Celebration marks the
closing of the Market on Broadway and
includes free family fun, including children
trick or treating, pony rides, crafts, draws,
scarecrow and pumpkin carving contests,
face painting and more.
MOONLIGHT MAGIC AND TREE
LIGHTING CEREMONY
Third Friday Evening in November
Usher in the holiday season in downtown
Orangeville with free face painting, horsedrawn
carriage rides, visits with Santa and
Mrs. Claus, outdoor fires, marshmallow
roasting, reindeer, hot chocolate and carols.
Don’t miss the Town’s Christmas tree lighting
ceremony at Town Hall.
FIRST NIGHT
December 31st Ring in the New Year with live entertainment,
wagon rides, hot chocolate, magic, and lots
of fun activities for the whole family!
CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK
December Evenings
Bundle up the family and get in the Christmas
spirit by visiting this spectacular display of
lights in KayCee Gardens. Each night in
December the park comes alive with
thousands of sparkling lights and Christmas
music to celebrate the magic of the holiday
season.
