way, the letters would all be on email, which might be

Christmas All Year Long
Arthur encapsulates the spirit of Christmas. He lives for
it. Under Steve’s leadership, Christmas has evolved into
a rational, logical business like any huge corporation. Arthur,
however, is still trying to hold on to the idea of the holiday and
maintain a child’s desire to believe in Santa. This is the conflict
established early in the film.
Meanwhile, here in Bristol, it’s been Christmas every day for
years. We had Christmas decorations and a tree set up for the holidays
and those are still here in the middle of summer. I think the
team must be a little disoriented when they walk into the office.

In Love with the holiday spirit
From the very start of the film, we want you to know that
Arthur is completely in love with the idea of Christmas.
He adores everything about the holiday. So his office is a shrine
to Santa and we made it look like it is literally overflowing with
the Christmas spirit. It is all meant to show his child-like wonder
and willingness to give into the spirit of the season. Soon we will
discover that he is the only person in his family who feels this way.
