VSP / DDU History• Formed in the fall of 1987 with State and FederalGrants• Establish a data base to assist in the identification ofthe scope of diversion activities within theCommonwealth• Initially, the focus was toward the investigation ofstreet level diversion, then included the investigationof health care professionals• Staff included four field investigators, a supervisor,an analyst, and a secretary
