Tucson Places a high priority on education, which is evident in the fact that Tucsonans regularly surpass national<br />
educational averages. The Greater Tucson Economic Council (www.TREOAZ.org) has found that around 80% of<br />
the city’s population has completed high school, compared with the national average of 66%. 20% of Tucsonans<br />
have completed at least four years of college, as opposed <strong>to</strong> the national standard of 16%<br />
Tucson students’ routinely score above the national average in SAT scores, as well as reading, math and<br />
