What Paul had experienced had caused him to lose his faith in God, but now hisfaith is restored, for he is at ease with himself and those dearest to him. Theythanked us for our little group, saying how much it means to those serving and totheir families that others care about them and regularly pray for their well being. On a much happier note a reminder that on Wednesday 5th December and duringthe Christmas Tree Festival, we are once again holding our Carol Service, complete with Military Band, so do come along to join us and bring your friendsfor a really great evening in a wonderful atmosphere! When the then Dean read a passage from Leviticus at aservice in the cathedral, warning against the dangers of eating the rock badger, hecollapsed into a fit of giggles. When he left Liverpool, the congregationcommissioned the carving and presented it with him, to his great delight. The mancan’t be all bad...17
