Applied Plasma Technologies (APT) develops and manufactures plasma ignition systems,
plasma pilots, plasma fuel nozzles and fuel reformers for naval and aircraft gas turbines,
scramjets, thrusters, boilers, and furnaces. More than 1,200 our plasma systems are in operation
worldwide.
APT manages an international project with the target to develop a novel plasma assisted
combustion technology on the basis of reverse vortex combustor and spatial arc. Such combustor
does not need the walls and nozzle cooling. Continuously operating spatial arc provides ignition
and flame control at any ambient conditions.
We also conduct research and development of a multi-channel plasma switch for High Power
Pulse Systems, including lasers with energy up to 5 J, voltage up to 50 kV and repetition rate up
to 3 kHz.
