Two Research Scholars are<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> study of toxicological effects of different parts ofParthenium <strong>in</strong> Hematological , Biochemical , Histopathological andImmunological toxicity Orytolages curricular.• Development of Tissue culture Technique and Charecterisation ofBimolecules : We are try<strong>in</strong>g to develop techniques for tissue culturealong with bio-chemical charecterisation of different unknownplants of Chattisgarh with medic<strong>in</strong>al property .Our two Researchscholars are <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> work with close collaboration of CottonResearch Institute (On ICAR unit), nagpur.• Thyroid profil<strong>in</strong>g of Chattisgarh Society : One of Research scholaris do<strong>in</strong>g work for development of Thyroid profil<strong>in</strong>g from differentcross sectional striate of Chattisgarh.• Endocr<strong>in</strong>e evaluation of pre puberty and Menopausal state ofChattisgarh population : One of scholar from lab is try<strong>in</strong>g to studyhormonal attr<strong>ac</strong>tion <strong>in</strong> both pre pubertal and menopausal state ofchattisgarh population .• Development of Map of Haemoglob<strong>in</strong>opathesis (especially sickle<strong>in</strong>g )for Chattisgarh : We have a mega project for study of differenttypes of Haemoglob<strong>in</strong>opathesis (especially sickle<strong>in</strong>g ) <strong>in</strong> differentsuction of Chattisgarh society . For this mega project one womwnscientist (DST) and two Research scholar work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the lab . Our


mission is development of a Haemoglob<strong>in</strong>opathesis map for wholechattisgarh• Study of Antimicrobial property of Plants of Chattisgarh : We arework<strong>in</strong>g for <strong>in</strong>vestigation of antimicrobial property of orig<strong>in</strong>al<strong>in</strong>digenous plat of chattisgarh . We have already established somef<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>gs .• Study of Cynotox<strong>in</strong> and development of Biosensor : We areevaluat<strong>in</strong>g cynobaeteria of local water bodies, their Cynotox<strong>in</strong> andrelated toxicological effect on mammalian system .
