C. ENTRIES(1) Entry into RQ will be accepted from any male professionalgolfer, from a male amateur golfer whose playing handicapdoes not exceed 0.4 (SCRATCH), from a male amateur golferwho has been within WAGR TM listing 1-2000 (see www.WAGR.com) during the period WAGR TM week 2015/01 todate of entry and from any female golfer in(i) The top 5 and ties in the 2015 ANA Inspiration.(ii) The top 5 and ties in the 2015 KPMG Women’s PGAChampionship.(iii) The top 5 and ties in the 2014 US Women’s OpenChampionship.(iv) The top 5 and ties in the 2014 RICOH Women’s BritishOpen Championship.(v) The top 5 and ties in the 2014 Evian Championship(2) Entry into FQ or The Open will be accepted from anygolfer who fulfils the conditions in section D or section Erespectively.(3) Amateur entrants from Great Britain & Ireland shall beunder the current CONGU handicapping scheme or, fromoutside Great Britain & Ireland, under the handicappingscheme adopted by the recognised authority controllinggolf in the country from which they enter.(4) Amateur entrants from Great Britain & Ireland must enterthrough the Secretary of their Home Club. Amateurentrants from the USA shall enter through their home StateAssociation. Other amateur entrants from outside GreatBritain & Ireland shall enter through the Secretary of therecognised authority controlling golf in the country fromwhich they enter.(5) Entries must be received by the Entries Department no laterthan Thursday 28 May 2015.(6) Entries shall be accepted by the Entries Department only ifthe the following details are provided.i. Payment of Entry Fee (£150)ii. Certification by the PGA, Tour or Secretary of theentrant’s handicapping authorityiii. Completed Club Information Form (only applicable toRegional Qualifying entrants) or box ticked to indicatethat your Clubs are all post-2010 models.(7) Entrance fees will not be refunded unless intimation ofwithdrawal is received before the respective closing date forentries. An administrative charge of £20 will be deductedfrom all refunds.(8) The Championship Committee may require independentcertified evidence of the playing ability of entrants.(9) All entries will be subject to the approval of theChampionship Committee which reserves the right toaccept or refuse, or having accepted, subsequently rejectany entry without giving reason for a decision.(10) The Championship Committee reserves the right todisqualify any competitor making a false statement on hisentry form.D ENTRY AT FINAL QUALIFYING is open to:(1) Past Open Champions.(2) Any competitor with OWGR pointage at date of entry.(3) Past Champions of The Masters Tournament, The US OpenChampionship and The PGA Championship.(4) Anyone who played in the 2014 Open Championship atRoyal Liverpool.(5) First 10 and anyone tying for 10th place in the 2014 PGAProfessional Championship.(6) First 10 and anyone tying for 10th place in the 2014 PGA ofAmerica Professional National Championship.(7) Past playing members of Ryder and Presidents Cup teams.(8) Playing members of the 5 leading teams and ties in the2014 Eisenhower Trophy.(9) Playing members of the 2014 St Andrews Trophy teams.(10) The Amateur Champions 2010-2014.(11) The US Amateur Champions 2009-2013.(12) The International European Amateur Champions 2009-2013.(13) The 2014 English, Scottish and Welsh Amateur Champions.(14) The runners-up in each of the 2015 Amateur Championship,for whom a blank entry will be made, the 2014 US AmateurChampionship and the 2014 International EuropeanAmateur Championship.(15) The leading 10 WAGR TM ranked players, not otherwiseexempt as at WAGR TM week 22.(16) The Boys Amateur Champion 2014.(17) The 2015 Latin America Amateur Champion and runner(s)-up.D(8) to D(17) are only applicable if the entrant concerned is stillan amateur on 30 June 2015.E. COMPETITORS EXEMPT FROM ALL QUALIFYING(1) The Open Champions aged 60 or under on 19 July 2015.(2) The Open Champions for 2005-2014.(3) The Open Champions finishing in the first 10 and tying for10th place in The Open Championship 2009-2014.(4) First 10 and anyone tying for 10th place in the 2014 OpenChampionship at Royal Liverpool.(5) The first 50 players on the OWGR for Week 21, 2015.(6) First 30 in the Race to Dubai for 2014.(7) The BMW PGA Championship winners for 2013-2015.(8) First 5 European Tour members and any European Tourmembers tying for 5th place, not otherwise exempt, in thetop 20 of the Race to Dubai on completion of the 2015BMW International Open.(9) The US Open Champions for 2011-2015. Blank entry willbe made on behalf of the 2015 Champion.(10) The Masters Tournament Champions for 2011-2015.(11) The PGA Champions for 2010-2014.(12) The PLAYERS Champions for 2013-2015.(13) The leading 30 qualifiers for the 2014 TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP.(14) First 5 PGA TOUR members and any PGA TOUR memberstying for 5th place, not exempt in the top 20 of the PGATOUR FedExCup Points List for 2015 on completion of the2015 Travelers Championship.(15) Playing members of the 2014 Ryder Cup Teams.5

THE STARTING FIELDIn the event of an exempt competitor withdrawing from theChampionship or further places becoming available in the startingfield after close of entries, these places will be allocated in rankingorder of entrants from OWGR at the time that intimation ofwithdrawal is received or further places are made available by theChampionship Committee. Any withdrawals following issue ofOWGR Week 27 will be taken in ranking order from OWGR Week 27.If a competitor, having entered, withdraws or otherwise fails to play inany round of any qualifying event, without satisfactory explanation,the Committee reserves the right to not accept an entry into TheOpen from that competitor in any subsequent year or years.G. REGISTRATIONFQCompetitors must register at the course where they are playing by2pm BST on the day prior to the start of the competition. If unableto register in person, competitors may indicate their time of arrivaland address for the duration of the competition to the Committeeat the venue at which they are playing by telephone, fax or e-mailto be received before 2pm BST on the day prior to the start of thecompetition. The Committee must receive telephone calls personally.A competitor’s place may be forfeited if contact has not been madeby the stipulated time.THE OPENCompetitors must register at St Andrews between 7am BST onSunday 12 July and 6pm BST on Tuesday 14 July 2015. If unableto register in person, a competitor may indicate his time of arrivaland address for the duration of the Championship by telephone,fax or e-mail to be received before 6pm BST on Tuesday 14 July.Telephone calls must be received at the Championship Office. Acompetitor’s place may be forfeited if contact has not been madeby the stipulated time.H. PRIZESThe winner will be the Champion Golfer of the year and will receivethe Championship Trophy, which will be held for that year, and theChampionship Gold Medal. The trophy shall be returned in timefor the following Championship to an address to be ordered by theChief Executive but the winner will receive a replica for retention.The runner(s)-up will receive a Silver Salver. The leading amateur inthe Championship, unless the winner, will receive a Silver Medal oncompletion of 72 holes. Other amateurs who complete 72 holes willeach receive a Bronze Medal.Prize money shall be allocated to professional golfers. Competitorswho are disqualified or withdraw from the Championship at any stageor for any reason shall forfeit all prize money. The ChampionshipCommittee at its total discretion may waive or otherwise amend thiscondition.
