Following is abrief summary of the activities that primarily took place during the year 2010and first quarter of 2011.1. Professional Development Classes for P.E. License:For more than a decade AABEA has been offering intensive classes for partone of the PE license exam to its members, namely, to newly immigratedengineers from Bangladesh. After attending the classes, a large percentage of attendees routinely passthe exam and secure their Professional Engineer licenses. It is worth mentioning that it takes a lot oftime, dedication and hard work to conduct these classes successfully. The facilitators, coordinators, lecturers, attendees and all other volunteers who assist for this great service deserve our appreciation. In 2010, a series of classes (at least three hours per class) were held before scheduled license exams. InSpring 2011, eight such classes were offered on Sundays. The last Spring 2011 class took place on Sunday,April 3, 2011.Special Note: For many years, the classes were held at Eastern Realty, 39-05, 63rd Street, Woodside,NY 11374.
