Our quality craftsmanship isrevealed not only in what you see,but in the details that are hidden.Chris-Crafts are hand-made by people who have spent a lifetime perfecting their skills. Manycome from families who have been building boats for generations. We recognize the unique pleasure in owning a boat that is as much a work of art as a pleasurablemeans of transportation. Though a Chris-Craft is a skillfully assembled collection of precisioncomponents, the true quality of our crafts is revealed in ways most have never considered. You will probably never see the wiring loom that connects the electrical systems, but eachharness is separated by voltage, loom-clamped or tie-wrapped at 18” intervals and environmentallysealed with Deutsch connectors. Our seat-bases have large drainage holes so that water is notretained in the seat cushioning. Our upholstery is double top-stitched to provide longevity. You will not find our perforated consoles, custom-made steering wheels and display gauges onany other brand of boat. As you would expect, we use only the highest quality materials andcomponents. We use stainless-steel where others use aluminum. But rather than using standard306-grade stainless-steel, we insist upon 316-grade or better. Even the screws we use arechrome-plated 316 stainless-steel. This alloy contains nickel, chromium and molybdenum, so itis more expensive, but offers much greater strength and durability.6 7
