Waren und Dienstleistungen müssen in der
Schweiz angeschrieben werden und sind verbindlich.
Auf Preisschildern, Etiketten und Speisekarten
ist immer der Endpreis angegeben.
Mehrwertsteuer-Rückerstattung
Die Mehrwertsteuer beträgt in der Schweiz 8,0%
und ist bei allen Waren im Verkaufspreis eingeschlossen.
Aus ländische Touristen haben das Anrecht auf die
Rück erstattung der MWST, wenn der Einkauf in
einem Geschäft über CHF 300.– beträgt. Im
Geschäft Antragsformular für Rückerstattung verlangen.
Trinkgeld
Trinkgeld ist in allen Dienstleistungen (Taxi, Res -
taurants, Coiffeur usw.) inbegriffen. Wenn Sie gut
bedient wurden, dürfen Sie Ihrer Zufriedenheit
jedoch stets mit einem «Overtip» Ausdruck geben.

Retail price
Merchandise and service prices in Switzerland
must be labelled and are non-negotiable. On
price tags, labels and restaurant menus, the price
indicated is always the final price.
Sales tax reimbursement
In Switzerland there is a value-added tax (VAT)
of 8.0% on goods, which is included in the sales
price.
Foreign visitors are entitled to a refund of the VAT
on purchases over CHF 300.–. Ask for the form in
the shop.
Tips
Tips are included in all services (taxi, restaurants,
hair dressers etc.). However, if you were served
well, you can express your satisfaction with an
additional tip.
Exchanging currency
You can change money at the exchange currency
office in the main station daily between 6.30 a.m.
and 9.30 p.m., in your hotel, or at a bank.
