form not directly attached to the ma<strong>in</strong> structure. While each of the design elements can<br />
be traced to <strong>Teotihuacan</strong> prototypes, its juxtaposition and rendition are dist<strong>in</strong>ctly <strong>Escu<strong>in</strong>tla</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> orig<strong>in</strong> molds could easily have been brought from Central Mexico, but each<br />
separately made cast<strong>in</strong>g for the <strong>in</strong>censario could be positioned to <strong>Escu<strong>in</strong>tla</strong> taste.<br />
