AMI's BOPP Film conference is now well established as the leading forum for the
world industry. The 2009 event will be held in the world's largest and most dynamic
BOPP film market: China. Over two days delegates will have the opportunity to not

AMI's BOPP Film 2007 conference attracted over 225 delegates from 30 countries.

BOPP Film 2009 is designed to provide a unique business conference and exhibition

environment. While demand growth has been strong resulting in a market of nearly
5 million tonnes globally for 2008, there has been over-investment in new capacity,
especially in China, resulting in persistent oversupply and exacerbating problems of
weak pricing and poor returns. At the same time the more established markets in
Japan, North America and Europe are seeing growth rates move more into line with
GDP growth reflecting the high penetration BOPP film has achieved and the
increasing maturity of the market leading to rationalisation and reorganisation in
these markets. BOPP Film 2009 will provide an ideal forum for the industry to debate
