legitimate son of Bolke Lunginghausen, inhabitant in Rautendorf with Beke Ahrens legitimate daughter of the deceased Claus Ahrens in Wilstedt This detailed marriage record is a big luck, after it gives us the name and residence of Conrad`s father (there are a number of earlier marriage records which do not include this information). This evidence about the father is even more important after I couldn´t found Conrad´s baptismal record in the parish records of Lilienthal (the parish to which Rautendorf had belonged until the foundation of the Grasberg church in 1789) – see part III. below. I have not done and research on the Mindermann- Lünkhusen/Lünighusen family yet. We have to take into consideration that the parish register record keepers often were not very accurate when they recorded the status/profession of the farmers. There are some small farmers which we can find as “Häuslinge” and farmers in the records of the same period. Wilstedt burial register (57/1835) + 06.10.1835, 7.30 a.m., buried: 10.10.1835 Becke Lünkhusen, nee Ahrens from Wilstedt wife of Conrad Lünkhusen, Anbauer in Fischerhude oo in November 1802 in Grasberg, lived in Rautendorf 56 years, 4 months, 17 days old, died of cramps, buried in silence 7
