“Look-a-Likes” — These are protected animals which look likehunted species. For example the meadowlark can be mistaken forquail or dove. Both many times fly together or inhabit the samefields. Roadrunners could be mistaken for chachalacas. Americankestrels (sparrow hawks) can look like doves. Many protectedsparrows and song birds look like the unprotected housesparrow.
