ForewordI believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that Jehovah, the Almighty God of heaven, raised Himfrom the dead and that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. I wasborn into a Christian family and have been raised in the Christian faith all my life. I am notperfect by any standards, as I have made many mistakes and sins in my life. I am no propheteither. I, however, made a conscious decision to earnestly seek the face of Jehovah and liveaccording to God’s will in mid-2012. I decided to renew my walk with Christ and got baptizedin September 2012, and I have been walking in faith with Jesus ever since. However, my studyand fascination with Biblical prophecies and the “end times” spans a much longer period.I’m sure a lot of you who will be reading this book after the rapture takes place on September23, 2015, will probably be wondering how it’s possible for any human being to have known theactual date of the rapture beforehand, since Jesus said in Matthew 24:36: “But about that day orhour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father”. Well you need to alsorealise that Jesus also says these words concerning the rapture in Matthew 24:43: “But be sureof this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would havebeen on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.” Paul also talks about this dayin 1 Thessalonians 5:4: “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like athief”. Reading these separate passages can get a bit confusing; on one hand, we are told that`nobody knows the day nor the hour` and on the other, we are told to `watch so that this daydoesn’t overtake us like a thief`. In Revelation 3, we also read, “If you do not wake up, I will comelike a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.”So what is the meaning of all this? We all know that the Bible never contradictsitself. Jesus almost always taught in parables, symbols and idioms. In fact a wholelot of what He taught was hidden in meaning and that’s why he regularly madestatements such as “He who has ears to hear, let him hear..” - Mark 4:9 & Revelation 2:29.viThe Rapture Puzzle • Putting The Scriptural Pieces Together
