“The King’sdaughter is allglorious within.”Psalm 45:136
On November 7, 1996, a dear friend handed me a little note and said, “Ginnie, the Lordgave me this verse for you.” As I read the words out loud, “The King’s daughter is all gloriouswithin” (Ps. 45:13), the Holy Spirit immediately showed me my regal identity in Christ as a King’sdaughter. I spent the next eight years of my life embracing the gift of His unconditional love, unshakable identity, radiant joy, and kingdom purpose for me in Christ. In 2004, I experienced a powerful encounter with the Lord at a Bible study with Dr. RobertMawire. I heard the Lord say, “I am giving you the mantle for King’s Daughters” and felt aphysical weight on my shoulders. Later that night, I looked up the Hebrew meaning of the wordmantle. It means a “cloak of responsibility and authority.” I wear that mantle today to sharewith women and girls what it means to be a King’s daughter in Christ. The Lord called my daughter, Sarah, to join King’s Daughters in 2010. We co-wrote TradingUp for a King’s Daughter and she added her music, graphic design, and excitement to thevision. She is also a talented artist, speaker to high school and college girls, and multi-talented,tenacious president of King’s Daughters. After years of development, 200 speaking engagements, events, and retreats in over 40cities, it is time to extend the King’s Daughters Vision to an inaugural group of women calledRegal Celebrators. This invitation is being extended to women who are wives, mothers, professionals, friends, daughters, grandmothers, and volunteers–who, above all, love the Lord.
