Apple and Brie Crostiniwith Honey and Toasted WalnutsINGREDIENTS1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch rounds1 Honeycrisp apple, cored3 Tbs honey1/2 oz Créme de Brie1/2 cup toasted, crumbled walnuts4 chives, snippedDIRECTIONS1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly brush each baguette round with extravirgin olive oil and bake for 8-10 minutes or until just beginning to brown.2. Position the adjustable slicing disc on the KitchenAid ® Pro Line ® 16-cupFood Processor with the slice setting for thickest slices. Place the apple piecesvertically into the feed tube and slice.3. Spread 1 teaspoon Brie on each crostini, top with one apple slice, and drizzle 1/4teaspoon of honey over top. Sprinkle with walnuts evenly then garnish withthe chives.Makes 40–45 crostiniTip Pears can be substituted for apples if desired.
