CROWN PLACE VCT PLCRESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTThe Directors have chosen to prepare this Half-yearly Financial Report for the Group in accordance withInternational Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).In preparing these summarised financial statements for the six month period to 31 December 2007, theDirectors, confirm that to the best of their knowledge:(a) the summarised set of financial statements has been prepared in accordance with InternationalAccounting Standard (IAS) 34 “Interim Financial Reporting” issued by the International AccountingStandards Board;(b) the interim management report includes a fair review of the information required by DTR 4.2.7R(indication of important events during the first six months and description of principal risks anduncertainties for the remaining six months of the year);(c) the summarised set of financial statements give a true and fair view in accordance with IFRS of theassets, liabilities, financial position and of the profit and loss of the Group for the period and comply withIFRS and Companies Act 1985 and 2006 and;(d) the interim management report includes a fair review of the information required by DTR 4.2.8R(disclosure of related parties’ transactions and changes therein).This Half-yearly Financial Report has not been audited or reviewed by the auditors.By order of the BoardPatrick CrosthwaiteChairman28 February 20087
