States Parties/ASP Electionswill be stepping down from the Trial Division. 363In terms of gender composition, at the time ofwriting this Report, the ICC bench was composedof ten women and eight men. Taking intoaccount the judges who will be completing theirterms, the composition of the remaining judgeswill be seven women and five men. 364In addition to the six judges who will havecompleted their terms at the ICC, on 3 June 2014,Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago (Philippines)submitted her resignation to the ICC for medicalreasons. 365 Senator Defensor Santiago hadbeen elected for a nine-year term by the ASPin December 2011, but was not sworn in anddid not take up her functions at the Court.
