Olivier DELBARD<br />

Olivier DELBARD is a Professor at the ESCP Europe Business<br />

School, one of the leading European management institutions.<br />

Holder of a Doctorate from the Paris IV Sorbonne University,<br />

he is qualified for PhD supervision in Economics. Olivier<br />

Delbard is an expert in the field of sustainability management<br />

and Corporate Social Responsibility. Among his responsibilities<br />

at ESCP Europe, Dr Delbard is the scientific director of a<br />

Master 2 Specialization on « Management, Societal Innovation<br />

and Sustainability ». He is also in charge of an Executive<br />

Education programme « Management and Sustainable<br />

development - Managing responsibilities on a daily basis ».<br />

Dr Delbard has written several academic articles related to the topic of sustainability and<br />

CSR, especially within a European context. He has been for long interested in the issues<br />

of non-financial reporting. He is also the author of the chapter on « Companies and the<br />

environmental dimension » for the French DSCG Manual (Gestion juridique, fiscale et<br />

sociale, DSCG épreuve n°1, Collection LMD, Foucher).<br />

Among his latest books are a Dictionary of Environment and Sustainable Development<br />

(new edition, 2011) and Pour une entreprise responsable – Comment concilier profits et<br />

développement durable ? (Toward responsible business – How to reconcile profits and<br />

sustainability) published in 2009.<br />

Peter MAESCHIG<br />

From 1968 to 1972, Peter Maeschig studied Economies at the<br />

King’s School in Cambridge. He began his career as a<br />

Managing Director at Troost-Campbell-Ewald in Vienna where<br />

he worked during five years.<br />

After that, Peter Maeschig worked from 1979 to 1983 as a<br />

Managing Director at BBDO in Düsseldorf.<br />

In 1984 Peter Maeschig was a Client Service Director during 3<br />

years at DDB Needham in Düsseldorf.<br />

Since 1989, Peter Maeschig is the chief executive officer of<br />

Design for Business AG in Düsseldorf.<br />

Industrial Design.<br />
