Have you
installed our App?
We have some new features
in our WPL To Go app.
(If you have the app already
installed, the features are
live already – no need to
update!) We have a fresh
new look, and several
features to enjoy, including:
• Storing your library card number
and barcode in the app. Check the
“Remember login” box on the My
Account sign-in page. You’ll now
see a line that says “show card for
scanning”. Tap this and your library
barcode will appear on the screen,
ready for scanning at checkout.
(Note: you may have to turn
brightness up to 100% to scan.)
• Accessing our eLibrary
is now even easier. We’ve
added quick links to
hoopla digital (movies,
music and audiobooks)
and Zinio eMagazines.
You will still find a quick
link to OverDrive eBooks
and eAudiobooks.
• Browsing our Programs and Events
on the go. Browse the calendar, or
use the search box to enter a branch’s
name, or a keyword. Remember to
register for a program by contacting
the library (if the program requires
registration).

ManyFest
Drop in to the KidZone at ManyFest on
Broadway. Get a demo of our eLibrary,
apply for a library card or renew your
current one and borrow books from our
pop-up library! We’ll also have big games
and crafts for the kids.

(LACs) have vacancies. These committees
meet a few times a year to share
ideas for improving library services and
to learn more about services that the
library offers. They also participate in
community events that celebrate books
and the library. Consider volunteering

Meet & Greet with
the Assiniboia LAC
The Assiniboia Library Advisory
Committee ( LAC) will be at the
Charleswood Library on Saturday,
October 24 from 2-4 pm to share
information about the LAC and hear
from the community. Enter to win
fabulous book prizes too! Cake and
refreshments will be served.
