Street Intersections: General Key Issue: Need to increase safety for pedestrians • Pedestrian bulbs - will protect end parked vehicle and decrease street crossing distance. • Tighter curb radii - will slow down turning movements for traffic calming. Pedestrian bulb and crosswalk • Crosswalks - will delineate where pedestrians cross and calm traffic (drivers feel crosswalks under tires). • Pedestrian crossing signals - will clarify safe times to cross streets.
