A campaign called #nomakeupselfie is<br />
one of the many social campaigns that<br />
have gone globally viral, it involves<br />
female’s Facebook selfies with no makeup<br />
on then nominating other people to do<br />
the same. The funny thing is that this<br />
wasn’t even a campaign organized by<br />
Cancer Research. This campaign began<br />
organically on social media and Cancer<br />
Research was just lucky enough to be the<br />
sole beneficiary after Facebook users<br />
began associating the selfies with the<br />
charity. Although it was primarily a<br />
Facebook campaign, it also had a big<br />
impact on Twitter. This campaign raised<br />
awareness, many donations, as well as<br />
picking up an additional 15,000 followers<br />
in just 2 weeks for Cancer Research.<br />
