12.8 Notice to Unitholders<br />

A notice is duly served if it is delivered to the<br />

Unitholder’s address as appearing in the register<br />

or is delivered by electronic means in accordance<br />

with the FSA Rules. Any notice or document<br />

served by post is deemed to have been served<br />

on the second Business Day following the day<br />

on which it is posted. Any document left at a<br />

registered address or delivered other than by post<br />

is deemed to have been served on that day.<br />

12.9 General Information<br />

(a)<br />

Copies of the most recent annual and halfyearly<br />

reports of the Trust may be inspected<br />

and copies may be obtained during ordinary<br />

business hours on any Business Day at the<br />

registered office of the Manager.<br />

(b) If you have any complaints, in the first<br />

instance you should write to the Head of<br />

Compliance at the Manager’s address above.<br />

A copy of the Manager’s Complaint Handling<br />

Procedures is available on request from the<br />

Manager. If you are an eligible complainant,<br />

you may also complain directly to the<br />

Financial Ombudsman Service:<br />

Any questions as to the construction of the<br />

Scheme or as to the regularity or the validity<br />

of anything done or proposed to be done<br />

under the Scheme, may be determined by<br />

The Charity Commission upon sufficient<br />

application to them by the Trustee or the<br />

Manager.<br />

(d) The Manager is also the manager of four<br />

existing common investment funds:<br />

• The Growth Trust for Charities;<br />

• The Equity Income Trust for Charities;<br />

• The Income Trust for Charities; and<br />

• The Absolute Return Trust for Charities.<br />
