College academic distribution
requirements (cadr)
for freshmen applicants
To be considered for admission, you must complete a minimum level
of preparation in six academic areas of study. Most likely you will
satisfy these requirements through high school courses in grades 9-12.
You may, however, satisfy CADR through college course work before
enrolling at UW Bothell. Because these are admissions, not graduation,
requirements, CADR must be completed before your first quarter at
UW Bothell. The best-prepared applicants exceed cadr minimums
either by earning more credit in the six subjects or by choosing the
most rigorous options of the courses available to them.
