CORTEZA DE PINO<br />
• Al ser un material de origen natural posee una gran<br />
variabilidad. Las cortezas se emplean en estado<br />
fresco (material crudo) o compostadas.<br />
Es un sustrato ligero, con una densidad aparente<br />
de 400-500 kg/m 3 .<br />
Color marrón-grisáceo.<br />
La porosidad total es superior al 80-85%<br />
la capacidad de retención de agua es de baja a<br />
media, siendo su capacidad de aireación muy<br />
elevada.<br />
El pH varía de medianamente ácido a neutro.<br />
La CIC es de 55 meq/100 g.
