client base and<br />
substantially<br />
increased its<br />
profitability.<br />
Donnelly is married 29 years<br />
with three sons and one granddaughter.<br />
He is a summa cum<br />
laude graduate of St. Francis<br />
College in Brooklyn, New York.<br />
A fourth-generation Irish-<br />
American with ancestors from<br />
Donegal, Donnelly says that as<br />

Craig S. Donohue has served as<br />
Chief Executive Officer and a<br />

Group since July 2007.<br />
Prior to his current position,<br />
Donohue served as CEO of<br />
CME Holdings<br />
and CME since<br />
January 2004.<br />
Since his<br />
appointment as<br />
CEO in 2004,<br />
Donohue has set<br />
CME’s vision<br />
and developed growth strategies<br />
to expand the company’s core<br />
business lines and global distribution.<br />
He was a key player in<br />
the merger, this past July, of the<br />
Chicago Board of Trade and the<br />
Chicago Mercantile Exchange.<br />

American with roots in County<br />
Cork. He lives in Northbrook,<br />
Illinois with his wife and their<br />

Michael Dowling<br />

Michael Dowling is president<br />
and CEO of North Shore-LIJ<br />
Health Systems. He joined the<br />
organization in 1995 as senior<br />
vice president of hospital services.<br />
In 1997 he<br />
became executive<br />
vice president<br />
and chief<br />
operating officer,<br />
and oversaw<br />
development,<br />
operations, and<br />
planning while North Shore and<br />
LIJ merged.<br />
Before joining North Shore,<br />
Dowling served in New York<br />
government for 12 years,<br />
including seven as chief advisor<br />
to Governor Mario Cuomo. He<br />
was commissioner of New York<br />
State Department of Social<br />
Services from 1993-1994. He<br />
also was a professor of social<br />
policy and an assistant dean of<br />
the Fordham University<br />
Graduate School of Social<br />
Services.<br />
Dowling came to New York<br />
City from Limerick looking for<br />
a job at age 17 and maintains<br />
close ties to Ireland. He serves<br />
on the board of the Smurfit<br />
School of Business at<br />
University College Dublin, and<br />
on numerous medical and charitable<br />
boards. He is married with<br />
two children.<br />
Patrick Dowling<br />
Tygris Commercial Finance Group<br />
Patrick Henry Dowling is the Senior Managing<br />
Director and leader of Tygris Commercial Finance<br />
Group’s Aerospace & Defense Finance business. Prior<br />
to joining Tygris, he was Managing Director and<br />
General Manager of CIT Leveraged Finance – Transportation where he<br />
was responsible for the global reach of the group by providing solutions<br />
for manufacturers, suppliers and service providers seeking debt,<br />
leasing and structured financings. Dowling was previously Managing<br />
Director and Industry Leader, Aerospace and Defense, for GE<br />
Commercial Finance and had over a 22 year career at GE serving in<br />
various management and leadership positions. He is active in various<br />
industry organizations, including The National Chamber Foundation of<br />
the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and The Institute for Defense and<br />
Business Foundation. Dowling is a certified public accountant and has<br />
served as a director on several company boards during his career<br />
including Penske Truck Leasing. He holds a BS in accounting from<br />
Fordham University and a JD from Pace University School of Law.<br />
Dowling is a second-generation Irish-American, whose mother’s family<br />
hails from County Cork. He is married to Kate and has three sons.<br />
Terrence Duffy<br />
CME Group Inc.<br />
The honorable Terrence A. Duffy has served as Executive<br />
Chairman of the Board of CME Group since July 2007.<br />
Before that, he served as Chairman of the Board of CME<br />
and CME Holdings since April 2002 and Executive<br />
Chairman since October of 2006. A member of the Exchange since 1981<br />
and a board member since 1995, Duffy was a key player in the merger of<br />
The Chicago Board of Trade and The Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In<br />
2002, he was appointed by President Bush to serve on a national summit<br />
on retirement savings, and in 2003, he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate<br />
as a member of the federal retirement thrift investment board. He serves<br />
on the Board of World Business Chicago, the Board of Regents for Mercy<br />
Home for Boys and Girls, the Board of Trustees of Saint Xavier<br />
University and the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation. He is also<br />
a Trustee of the CME Trust, whose mission is to enhance economic<br />
opportunity, health and education, especially for disadvantaged youth. A<br />
third-generation Irish-American, Duffy says his Irish heritage is a source<br />
of “great pride” and traces his father’s family to Westport, County Mayo.<br />
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and, in 2007,<br />
received a Doctor of Humane Letters from DePaul University.<br />
