INDIRECT OPTICAL SYSTEM
Specify either the PROS or PROV with AAL’s
revolutionary indirect optical system for extremely even
illumination and improved comfort. The indirect system
eliminates uplight for dark sky compliance without an
overly bright hot spot of light directly below the fixture.
The primary optical system is designed to tightly control
upward illumination. This highly engineered optical
system results in less than 1% uplight, earning an IES
“cutoff” classification.
The lower optical system consists of a lamp and
highly polished reflector. The reflector is specifically
designed to focus the beam of an ED-17 or T6
metal halide lamp.
