The City of Bonita Springs is
strategically located between two
metropolitan statistical areas—
Naples and Fort Myers—and lies
equidistant from Tampa to the
north and Miami to the east. Southwest
Florida International Airport
(RSW), just 20 minutes from the
center of Bonita Springs, has regularly
scheduled international flights
and holds Foreign Trade Zone
(FTZ) status.
Two general aviation airports
also serve the area: Naples Municipal
Airport to the south, and Fort
Myers Airways/Page Field to the
north.
Interstate 75 stretches from
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula all
the way south to Bonita Springs.
Just beyond Exit 116/Bonita Beach
Road, I-75 swings east, connecting
Bonita Springs to Miami and Fort
Lauderdale as well as to I-95, the
country’s major north/south link to
the Northeast.
Seminole Gulf Railway, with a
Bonita Springs station, hauls freight
to Arcadia, Florida, where it links
with other rail services. Major
moving and trucking firms serve the
area, and deep-water ports are easily
accessible. The Okeechobee Waterway
provides a navigation route
from the Gulf of Mexico via the Caloosahatchee
River to Florida’s east
coast and the Atlantic Ocean.
Lee County keeps pace with
plenty of hi-tech, innovative infrastructure,
as well. CenturyLink Corporation
and Level 3 Communications
both offer SONET ring service,
with a survivable fiber-optic system
that prevents phone service interruptions.

service provider in Lee County, with
residential rates below the national

limited partnerships, no state-level
