“Battle of the Bumpers”
A Unique Way to Show Your ALC Pride!
Several years ago, the Association for Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities (AIKCU) started a license
plate program which would promote each of its member institutions. Alice Lloyd College has been a proud
participant in this program since its inception.
AIKCU also holds an annual competition between member schools to see which institution can put the most
license plates on Kentucky highways, and this year ALC would love to win the “Battle of the Bumpers”—with
your help! Purchasing an ALC license plate not only shows your pride in our institution, but also helps current
students. Ten dollars from the sale of each plate goes directly back to the campus to support student
scholarships. This ten dollars also allows the Alumni Office to include you in its annual participation
percentage!
The new competition began on January 1, 2013. Be sure to contact your local county clerk for more information
on these one-of-a-kind plates. Let’s help ALC win the 2013 “Battle of the Bumpers!”
