that they, like St. Joseph, will embrace the great privilege that God has entrusted
to them.

Seminarian Collection This Weekend
The Archdiocese of Mobile currently has 20 seminarians
studying for the priesthood—and there is reason to
hope we will have even more before the summer ends.
God has richly blessed our Archdiocese with Vocations.
However, with such a blessing comes the responsibility
to educate and form these young men in the seminary.
The cost of seminary has continued to rise each year.
It costs on average $37000 a year for the education,
formation programs, insurance, food and housing for
each seminarian. All of the money raised this weekend
stays in our Archdiocese.
A Prayer for Our Fathers
God, Our Father, We give you thanks and praise for
fathers young and old. We pray for young fathers,
newly embracing their vocation; may they find the
courage and perseverance to balance work, family, and
faith in joy and sacrifice. We pray for our own fathers
who have supported and challenged us; may they
continue to lead in strong and gentle ways. We
remember fathers around the world whose children
are lost or suffering; may they know that the God of
compassion walks with them in their sorrow. We pray for
men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us
with fatherly love and advice. We remember fathers,
grandfathers, and great-grandfathers who are no
longer with us but who live forever in our memory and
nourish us with their love. We remember our Priests as
our Spiritual Fathers; may they continue to lead us in
Your Way. Heavenly Father, we give You praise for all
the wonderful godly men you have placed in our
lives and ask a special blessing on them today!

ACTS needs your help. We rely solely on the generosity of
area churches and citizens to feed and clothe many people
in Tallassee. We also offer financial assistance with
utility bills for people who would face disconnection without
us. Food/monetary donations, as well as donation of
your TIME are greatly needed and appreciated. Food
donation can be left in the basket in the vestibule of the
church. Monetary donations can be placed in the collection
