A TASTE OF <strong>POLSKA</strong><br />
Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Marquee<br />

Come along to experience vibrant and colourful Polish traditions and<br />
culture on the 8th May at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Marquee.<br />
A great family day out with workshops, performances, dance, music and<br />
Polish food. Performance by Trebunie Tutki - one of the oldest Polish folk<br />
bands, Orleta - the Polish traditional group from London, Polish Saturday<br />
Schools in Northern Ireland and international guests including Belfast<br />
Circus, Irish and Ulster-Scots dancers, a Bollywood show and Chinese<br />
Dragon dance.<br />
In partnership with the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival.<br />
Supported by the PSNI and the Unite Against Hate.<br />

Wycinanki, pronounced “Vee-chee-non-kee” is the Polish word for<br />
paper-cut design. This is a traditional Polish craft which creates intricate<br />
and beautiful designs by cutting paper, and is used to decorate home<br />
interiors. Come and see some examples of this craft and have a go at<br />
making some designs yourself.<br />
