PWA-SUPPS P&W Specification Supplements (PWA-S) Which Modify & are an Integral Part of Aerospace Material Specifications (AMS) Requirements Reference specification PWA-360 Section A4.2.2 Modifications to specified documents. In certain instances, the PW Engineering Department modifies requirements cited in industry or government documents specified on engineering drawings (e.g., AMS - - Aerospace Material Specifications) by issuing a PWA Spec Supplement. Normally, the spec supplement appears on both the engineering drawing and the P&W Purchase Order. However, where a spec supplement has been issued but does not appear on the engineering drawing, interpret the drawing as invoking the supplement: for example; the other requirement "AMS 4928 TI ALLOY" shall be Some drawings may refer to other PWA-S, not noted below; these requirements are now incorporated in the basic AMS or have been cancelled.
