Hundreds of adults and youth members throughout the country participated
in a pilot program through their local council and Cub Scout packs, Boy
Scout troops, and Venturer crews. With their assistance, the BSA was able
to develop an impactful and meaningful awards program for young people
that will inspire them to explore science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics in their day-to-day life, their studies, and career possibilities.
