SUFFOLK

Nearly 300 Scouters, spouses and friends gathered at Villa Lombardi’s on
March 31 st for the council’s 2011 Fellowship dinner. Plenty of good friends,
good food and the chance to recognize a number of Scouting accomplish-
ments marked the evening.

Our tie to Scouting’s beginning, Troop 3, receives a special plaque
recognizing their 100-years of unbroken tenure.

Association’s Service Project of the Year
Award to Brian Slatky by the Council’s
NESA Chapter President Brian McAuliff.
Highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Silver Beaver
Award. Pictured (l-r) are 2100 award recipients Geraldine Alfano,

Trailblazer District accounted for fully one-third of the dinner
attendance. District Chairman Lou Scotti, receives the
coveted Attendance Award trophy from Matinecock District
Chairman Jim Montalto.
