My little sister and I grew up in different countries. I was in Russia until age 13, so when I came to the U.S., I thought I was already a mature person. My sister Melanie, who is 8, was born here. Oh my God, we are so different! She has almost everything she wants, because it’s all out there. When I was her age, my life was simple: one Barbie was more than most had.
