William Henry was a successful entrepreneur and his wife Katherine a
successful concert pianist; both had a deep faith in God.
[Obit – Mrs. William Henry McGannon, Katherine daughter of Patrick Gormley & Patricia Flinn, died
26 Feb 1950 in her 91 st year, married 1906 to William sho died 1919. After his death she became owner
and operator of the St. Lawrence Hall. Managed the McGannon coal business until retirement at age 80.
Graduate of the Conservatory of Music, New York City, gave concerts at Carnegie Hall. Leaves 1 son, 2
grandchildren, 1 nephew. One of 14 children]
