<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Gerber</strong> is a thorough cl<strong>in</strong>ician who<br />
dedicated his life to help<strong>in</strong>g patients.<br />
Research has for him a sense only if it is<br />
related to alleviat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> patient’s<br />
suffer<strong>in</strong>g. He is a man of <strong>in</strong>born <strong>in</strong>tuition,<br />
of altruism, of strong personality and<br />
charisma, of constructive criticism, and of<br />
modesty. The need for criticism, for not<br />
tak<strong>in</strong>g any <strong>the</strong>ory, even his own, for<br />
granted, and for help<strong>in</strong>g patients, allow<strong>in</strong>g<br />
him such a significant contribution <strong>in</strong> our<br />
field. We should be grateful and proud of<br />
him for hav<strong>in</strong>g dedicated his lifr to<br />
improve our knowledge of craniomandibular<br />
disorders.<br />
