Father Dunnan. “This teaches strong<br />
sight-reading skills and creates a very<br />
strong, unified sound.”<br />
The trip presented a special<br />
opportunity for the students to<br />
perform in another country, to<br />
experience British traditions, and to<br />
expand their repertoire, and hopefully,<br />
their horizons. “The choir performed<br />
where choristers stood for over 1,000<br />
years,” said Fine Arts Department<br />
Chair and Choir Director, Mrs. Linda<br />
Morgan Stowe.<br />
“The experience provided a<br />
connection to the past and to the<br />
present that is unique in the choral<br />
experience,” she continued. “We also had<br />
the opportunity to work with two of the<br />
cathedral choir directors, and to learn<br />
from their choristers.”<br />
