Darya<br />
Darya lost her job as an architect three months ago. Every week she visits an employment agency to try to find<br />
a new job, which she would be able to start immediately.<br />
Charles<br />
Charles looks after his one-year-old son. He neither holds a job, nor wants a job.<br />
Sergey<br />
Sergey has no job from which he receives any pay or profit. However, he helps in his parents’ shop for around<br />
20 hours per week.<br />
Matt<br />
Matt is currently receiving training at a local hairdresser, which is partly paid for by the government. He works<br />
28 hours a week and goes to college for 1 day per week.<br />
Rosa<br />
Rosa is out of work, but stopped looking for new jobs a year ago as she does not believe any jobs are<br />
available.<br />
George<br />
George lost his job as a teacher and looks for work each week. His wife is still working in her job as an investor<br />
banker and earns over £100k a year.<br />
Iris<br />
Iris has no job because she is aged 3 and busy playing with lego at home.<br />
Charlotte<br />
Charlotte has no job because she is at Oxford University studying Economics and Management.<br />
Nasser<br />
Nasser retired from his job last year and is claiming his state pension. He is still looking for part-time work.<br />
