Patch Panel Management to:
– Record patch panel reference and media type, number of ports
– On a per port basis, assign to a customer
– Record the data centre assigned ID
– Connection (and disconnection) date
– Optionally assign to a switch port
• Need to manage customer port moves as a process now!
– Or optionally assign to customer co-located equipment
