Rest assured, even though your Peace of Mind Guarantee has
expired, we will gladly continue to assist with the cleaning
and maintenance of your jewellery. We encourage you to
continue with an annual inspection where you can present
your Exclusive Customer Card to redeem this free service.
We also encourage you to talk with our professional consultants
about our restoration and remodelling services should you
have any pieces of jewellery in your collection you are no
longer wearing. You may be surprised how easily and
affordably we can breathe new life into your treasured
jewellery collection.

Terms and conditions
We guarantee to help you maintain the brilliance and beauty of your
unique piece of diamond set Stephens jewellery. This guarantee is
limited to original manufacturing defects and is dependent on the
original purchaser of the item described in this guarantee completing
the annual inspection at one of the Stephens Jewellers stores.
All recommended maintenance must be completed at the time of
individual inspections and at the customer’s expense to maintain
manufacturing defect guarantee privileges. Should the customer
choose not to complete the recommended maintenance work the
guarantee may be declared void by the jeweller.
This guarantee excludes normal wear and tear which includes but
is not limited to; claw maintenance, white gold rhodium plating,
accidental damage to settings or stones, loss of stones due to
reasons excluding manufacturing defects and other damage which
is deemed normal wear and tear by the jeweller. The guarantee is
conditional and not transferable. This Peace of Mind Guarantee
is separate from statutory consumer rights within Australia and
relevant manufacturer warranties.
The decision to offer this additional guarantee on selected items is
at the absolute discretion of Stephens Jewellers and management
reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions of this guarantee
at any time as it sees necessary.
Stephens Jewellers recommends all jewellery items over $2000
retail value be declared and listed on the owners household
contents insurance policy.
Fine Diamond Jewellery definition and product exclusions:
• Not all diamond jewellery sold by Stephens Jewellers is covered
by the Seven Year Peace of Mind Guarantee.
• Promotional multi-stone set rings and accessories are excluded
and diamond set dress jewellery under $1500 retail value is
excluded.
• Fine diamond items purchased on clearance sale where they
are discounted in excess of 15% of the original ticketed price do
not automatically qualify for the Peace of Mind Guarantee.
The Guarantee can be purchased within six months of the
original purchase of such items for $375 subject to an inspection
of the item.
• For the sake of this guarantee a Stephens jewellers fine diamond
jewellery item incudes such items as handmade wedding bands,
anniversary rings, engagement rings or diamond accessories
where the original retail price exceeds $1500. The Peace of Mind
Guarantee also extends to selected fine jewellery items including
natural coloured gemstones and diamonds. Please ask your
Stephens Jewellers Diamond consultant should you seek any
further clarification.
