in Coy’s Par 3<br />
tournament<br />
Forty-two seasoned golfers from<br />
throughout the valley defi ed threatening<br />
clouds on August 27th to participate in<br />
the 4th annual Coy’s Par 3 Golf Course<br />
Senior Men’s Tournament.<br />
With thanks to Fil Coy, organizer<br />
Jim Scott, along with Lawrie Nichol, Earl<br />
Pederson, Jack Scott, and cooperative<br />
skies, the day proved to be a celebrated<br />
success, with a variety of challenges and<br />
grand prizes for all.<br />
Fellow players Jack Scott, Barry Jonas,<br />
Bill Th ompson, Bob Schuler, Chris<br />
Th orne, Carl Larson, Dennis Hemus, Al<br />
Ostrander, and Terry White were award<br />
winners of closest to the pin.<br />
Don Deputan sank longest putt, while<br />
Lindsay Nielson took lowest net score.<br />
Th e team of Ken Innes, Dennis Hemus,<br />
George Jenkins, and Jack Shaw carried<br />
the day.<br />
