When you’re dressing up for a fun trick or treating on Halloween, you can leave your precious
pooch looking like a plain jane, now can you? Here are some adorable ideas for your dog to get it in
the spooky spirit of the night.
Cheap but fun ideas include turning your dog into another animal for Halloween. Why let your
pooch be a canine when you’re turning yourself into a mythical creature? Try twisting some foil into
a horn and arranging it on a hairband and place that on your dog’s head to turn it into a unicorn.
This even cuter if your dog is already white. Take an old muffler hat that you aren’t using and
stitch some yellow and orange woollen bits on to it and place that on your dog’s head to turn it into
a lion. If your dog is willing, you can even add a small bit to its tail for a more complete look. Other
you can try on your pet include adding the usual Halloween headgear you get at this time of year to
your dog, like the rabbit ear hairband or the bat wings hairband. This has the effect of turning your
pooch into another animal and makes for cheap Dog Costumes.
Popular TV or movie characters also make for fun Dog Costumes . Take an old wig and dye it blue
and place on your dog, along with some fluffy material around its waist to look like a skirt and get
it to look like Katy Perry. For cartoony Dog Costumes, take an old yellow t shirt and add an old pair
of dungarees on the front to convert it to a minion suit. You can then take a white paper plate and
stick it on a yellow beanie to place on your dog’s head and paint an eye on the plate to complete
the look. If you’re a star wars fan, cut out some giant green long ears and stick on to a hairband
that you can place on your dog’s head to turn it into Yoda. The possibilities of fun are apparently
endless.
If you don’t mind shelling out a bit of money on Dog Costumes , try looking around at some Dog
Outfits in store. You can add a couple of dog heads on either side of your dog to make it look like a
truly terrifying beast. These are easy to find and are pretty effective, and can be paired up with
your child’s Harry Potter outfit. Add a crocodile to the end of your dog so it looks like he’s being
swallowed alive by a crocodile. Now that’s a look that’s bound to turn a few heads. For really
simple Dog Costumes, just cut out some holes in an old white tshirt and stick on your dog’s head to
turn it into a ghost.
