GEAR! 

This year we have been developing technical motorcycle wear for exactly 25 years. 

From only a few products with some unique specs, only sold at our home market, 

to a wide collection sold in over 60 countries worldwide. 

And every day we still get to work and try to make it better. Because improving 

function, comfort and safety will always be possible. New technologies but also 

changing trends trigger us to take a step further again and again. 

To suit the needs of the casual dressed riders our collection of urban styles has 

been broadened once more. Casual look but still always very “Macna” for example 

with Twin Shell, or use of Night Eye. Or Kevlar jeans with unique functions, hardly 

noticable from the outside. 

Common improvements or refining has been done to other new styles, some as 

result of our increased race involvement, others because we experienced a need to 

modify it ourselves during one of our rides, for testing or fun only. 

And that is what we’ll be doing this year as well!

shoulder and elbow. 

Developed for use on the racetrack, but ad’s a good amount 

of safety for use on the streets as well. Our dual compound 

protectors are placed externally on the shoulders. They have a TPU 

base and highly resistant shatter proof polycarbonate shell. It will 

deflect and spread the force of impact and make you slide in stead 

of suddenly stop.

LIGHT AND DRY? 

Raintex DL will keep water out. Not only away from your shirt but completely 

outside the jacket. The breathable waterproof layer is laminated directly to the 

outer shell, leaving no space in between these layers to store water. Because only 

the outer shell gets wet, the jacket will dry fast and breathability remains intact. 

Conventional systems absorb water. It will hit through the non waterproof outer 

shell and only get blocked by the waterproof layer inside. Water will get trapped 

in between layers, behind plastic protectors, soak your liner……..your jacket will 

end up soaked. Long drying times, weight increase and a musty smell the next 

morning are the results. Water inbetween layers will form a film blocking the 

membranes breathability. Because of the close contact from your body to the 

membrane, you will feel water running down the membrane. It will cool you down 

very fast.

All styles with Twin Shell have one thing in common, multi layers which can be used separately. Stand alone 

layers combined into one multifunctional jacket. 

There are two versions, Pro for the traveller and Casual for the commuter. 

The Casual type has a weather/ safety shield with impact and weather protection for on the bike, and a separately wearable thermo jacket inside, for 

use as a normal warm and windproof jacket between rides. 

The Pro version has a set up of a safe core layer, with detachable thermo liner, protection and ventilation. A waterproof and breathable weather shield 

can be mounted on top whenever needed. Both layers are fully equipped with pockets and the usual technical details.

TWINSHELLPRO 

The protective core jacket is always the base for your ride. If it is warm and dry you will use the core jacket, 

equipped with protectors, without thermo and without the weather shield. If it gets wet slide the weather shield 

on top, and if still cold add the thermo liner. 

WEATHERSHIELD

The Waterproof shell will keep water and wind out, and 

keep you and your protective jacket or pants protected from 

the elements. The direct laminated construction avoids any 

layers from soaking up water. With a conventional construction, 

layers will soak with water and work as a water film 

behind the membrane, and will block all breathability. With 

Twin shell Connect water is kept completely out, your 

jacket's properties therefore stay intact at all times, and it 

will dry a lot quicker. 

CORE 

always maximum protection 

The core jacket works as the safety layer. You have a choice 

between a leather core jacket or perfectly ventilating mesh 

jacket. The core jacket takes care of the necessary abrasion 

resistance and carries the CE protection.

as a casual jacket, this is the perfect solution for daily commuters who have the need for a casual jacket

USING THERMO LINERS AND SPECIAL BASE 

LAYERS, BUT STILL FEELING COLD? 

Mounting the battery powered Hot Vest at the specially prepared position in the liner of your jacket will 

provide heat at the most effective places. 

The rechargeable battery pack can be placed in a pocket in the liner. One fully charged battery will 

provide up to 3 hours of heat.

NICE AND TIDY 

Easy cuff is the smooth solution for connecting the thermo and membrane liners in the sleeves. Easy cuff light even has the connection 

zip from the membrane placed on the ourtside of the sleev, while the light version has this zip placed just inside the cuff, still easy to 

reach and use, and a lot less messy than snap and loop constructions.

NECESSARY COOLING 

If the temperatures really exceed the normal summer values, a 

ventilation zipper with small opening will not provide the comfort needed 

to stay sharp. A fully vented jacket or pants will still keep you packed in 

safely and with all function you normally like, but it feels close to riding 

in a T-shirt. Large mesh ventilation panels placed at the most sufficient 

area’s will let wind in and out without much resistance.

After closing the jacket the zip handle can be locked into a fixed 

position so it does not hang loose, no need for an additional flap to

Finally a proper substitute for zippers whenever 100% waterproofness is needed. It has no 

conventional zipper teeth and even seals an opening in a direct laminated jacket.

By simply unzipping the collar part, a large mesh panel is unvealed which will let wind 

enter your jacket freely. If the weather conditions suddenly change, the collar part can be

Whenever a car’s headlights shine on Night Eye, it will reflect the 

light right back, even from a long distance. The tiny glass beads 

in the fabric work as small satellite dishes, reflecting light back 

where it came from . It will make you light up like a traffic sign. 

There are three versions available. Night Eye Classic has a High 

Viz yellow color and a reflective pattern. This version works best 

for good visibility during daytime, but still provides extra visibility 

at night. Night Eye Regular appears to be a common mid grey 

fabric until you use it at night. Stealthy dark at daytime, bright at 

night time. Possible with Night Eye Dark when lights hit the fabric. 

The fabric can be found fully implemented in various styles, or 

only in smaller panels at strategic visibility area’s.

With a conventional loose membrane water can build up 

between layers. This water will block the breathablity and 

cool down your body temperature. Once the water has been 

collected between the layers it will take long before it has left 

the glove again. The new Outdry system keeps all water out 

of the glove, keeping the gloves' properties intact during all

All mentioned sizes are an indication. When choosing a product size according to mentioned body sizes you should take the variation from the standard sizing in consideration. If for example you

WHAT YOU OUGHT TO KNOW ABOUT ALL MEMBRANES 

All membranes, no matter what brand or construction, will block water but can let water vapor through. 

But it will only do so under certain circumstances. Let’s forget about the differences in specs and quality of 

the membranes for a while and concentrate on the principle. 

The key word is difference. There will only be migration of vapors if there is a difference. On one side it 

should be more than the other. The gas or vapor will want to go there where the least vapor is, until it is 

the same everywhere. The membrane however has no idea about front and back, so it can go both ways. 

Always keep in mind that there are circumstances and effects that could let the water go inside your gear 

in stead of out. If it is more humid and warm outside, than inside your gear, vapor will be drawn in. This 

could also happen on your seat, where water remains, and temperature is higher. You might get the idea 

your gear is leaking, but in fact it is just your membrane doing its job. 

SOME EXAMPLES: 

• Pants' crotch appear to leak because the water is heated up on the seat creating a lot of vapor. 

It can hardly reach the open and it is dryer on the inside than outside your pants. Transport of vapor in the “wrong” way. 

• Gloves feel wet and cold, yet the water is outside the membrane. The water runs over the 

membrane almost directly over your skin, cooling the surface constantly.
