CALEMATIC
Automatic chocks are a new safety system that prevents the loading
vehicle from moving until the ramp is in its standby position.
A user-friendly system
The user-friendly Automatic chocks guarantee maximum safety. When
the dock leveler is open, the chocks rise to completely immobilize the
vehicle, so that the loading and unloading process can begin with the
utmost safety. When the dock leveler is closed, the chocks lower to
allow the vehicle to move.
A strong system
The automatic chocks are made of hot-dip galvanized steel 10 mm
thick. The chocks are built into a prefabricated concrete hole for
maximum strength.
An adaptable system
The automatic chocks adapt to the position of the axles of any type
of vehicle. The vehicle wheels are automatically blocked by one or
several chocks. For lower vehicles, chock raising can be mechanically
limited in a simple manner.
1. Clear docks
The loading and circulation areas remain clear, without
interrupting operations. The automatic chocks can be
installed along a wall or next to one.
2. Simple maintenance
The modular assembly of the different parts makes the
Calematic model easy to maintain. Module dismantling
requires no specialized tools.
3. Installation and start- up
Installation of the automatic chocks is very simple and
requires no costly construction work. A reinforced concrete
frame is supplied for installation in the planned opening.
The chocks fit easily into the housing designed for this
purpose. Channels must be provided for the installation
of compressed air pipes and a drainage pipe to release
any rainwater.
